Sheila is a native of Williamson, WV, currently living in Lewisburg. She received her BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and her MS in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She has worked in the field of psychology in the rural Pocahontas/Randolph/Greenbrier County areas for 20 years. Services offered have included psychological evaluations, individual, family, and group psychotherapy, treatment planning, crisis intervention, behavior management, and community education regarding mental health. Sheila has worked for Timberline Health Group, Youth Health Services, and in her own private practice.

More recently, Sheila has been working for the WV Division of Rehabilitation Services as a Rehabilitation Counselor. This position involved helping those with disabilities identify and reach their employment potential. She also served as a member of the Greenbrier County Drug Court Treatment Team, and has served on the Local Emergency Planning Commission for Pocahontas County.

Sheila joined Saar Psychological Services in December of 2017. She is providing Parental Fitness Evaluations for Child Protective Services and the Circuit Courts, as well as offering therapy services. When she is not working, she is serving as a band mom and soccer mom for her two teens.
